i want to buy Asus M5A97 EVO R2 mobo & AMD FX8150 CPU. both supports AMD-V & IOMMU. the mobo has 9-series chipset which also supports IOMMU. i want to have fully IO virtualization. the mobo's BIOS has IOMMU but only for 64MB option. as per it has written, does it support only Linux based systems for IO virtualization? is this sufficient for ESX4.x/ESXi4.x & ESX5.x/ESXi5.x to support fully virtualization? can i assign each physical LAN cards port to each VM directly on VMware & Linux based OS?
