vSphere web client on linux - Registration issue

Hi guys,

I'm not new to VMware but I'm definitely new to vSphere Hypervisor. At work I've got a PC which is compatible with vSphere so I've installed vSphere Hypervisor 5 and its all up and running. I've got vSphere Client running on my Windows 7 laptop which is how I'm accessing my virtual machines right now. But my main desktop PC runs Linux (Scientific Linux to be precise, a derivative of Redhat). I've read I can use the vSphere web client on Linux machines to admin/access my virtual machines. But how do I do it? Right now if I browse onto the ip address of my VMware box I only get a very standard page with few links to VMware content.

My other question, how do I register the vSphere Hypervisor? vSphere Client is showing its in "Evaluation mode: 60 days remaining". In vSphere Client if I go to Help > VMware on the web > Register Now, I type in the Product key which I got when I downloaded the Hypervisor and when I click Continue I get the message "The License key is already registered."

I've spent a lot of time searching VMware documentation and searching on net but didn't find answeres to these two questions. So I hope you experts can help me.
