Hi Guys,
We have ESXi 5.5 HP Blade server configured with HP Virtual Connect. Yesterday ,one of the network adapter out of two configured with vSwitch was down due to Pause flooding issue on the port. We have configured 2 Active NICs in Failover order. When the failure occur on one of the network adapter, VM connected to it went down. I have moved the failed adapter under Unused Adapter. Tried disconnecting and connecting the VM Network and even disable and enabling the Network adapter inside the windows Guest OS was not able to reach the network
Only after vMotion of the VM's to other ESXi host, VM was reachable in network.
Network Failover detection : Link Status only . Will the Link status only will not detect the Pause Flood issues?
