ESXi Patches / cumulative

Hi Community,

I have a question concerning ESXi updates.

Are they all cumulative or only some? How can you tell the difference?

For example:

If you would like to install ESXi550-201502001; do you have to install ESXi550-201501001 too?

Do you have to install in a certain order (olders first)?
