ESXi 5.0U1 - Configuring 802.3ad Link Aggregation Using LACP

Hi all--

I could use some help here.  We have some new hosts going in with 10G nics and my networking guy is telling me to configure them for 802.3ad Link Aggregation.  He says they should negotiate using LACP.

I've setup the hosts IP, selected both vNics on vSwitch0 and set the correct VLAN tag all from the hosts console; however, I still can not ping the hosts.

I do not have other nics in these hosts to get it connected into vCenter.

Any ideas on how this should be setup?
