Cisco M81KR VIC and VMware vSphere

Hi All,

Something I've been trying to nail down for my VMware designs.  When using a virtual interface card like the Cisco M81KR, how do the 10Gb interfaces count against vSphere config maximums?

So for example, I want to implement a standard VMware networking setup, 2 x vmnics for management, 2 x vmnics for vMotion, and 2 x vmnics for virtual machine traffic.  The M81KR VIC would present this configuration to ESXi as 6 x 10Gb nics.  So how does ESXi handle those virtual interfaces in terms of configuration maximums?  Does ESXi just see the 2 x 10Gb physical paths that are in the card, or does it count the 6 virtual interfaces I want to configure as actual 10Gb nics against the config maximum of 4 (ESXi 4.1)?

Just trying to verify so I'm not deploying an unsupported design.

Thanks.
